Meet the scholarship recipient: Adam Shibley

Adam will carry a 3.51 grade point average into his senior year at the University of Michigan. His coursework is focused on Communication and Media Studies, Entrepreneurship, and Sales/Marketing. His future goals include working in the athletic apparel industry.

He is an award-winning linebacker on the Wolverine football team, including being named to the Academic All Big Ten Team two years in a row. He is the Executive Director and Founder of The Uniform Funding Foundation (TUFF), a nonprofit that donates customized uniforms and sports gear to youth sport teams in need. In college, Adam is a delegate on the Lebanese Student Association Board, an active member in the Arab Business Society, and a model for the Noir Fashion Runway.

A professor writes that “Adam is the kind of student that a professor is all-too-glad to have—motivated for the right reasons, earnest, organized, passionate, autodidactic and warm.”
