An honors graduate from Hartford Union High School, Joseph is now entering his sophomore year at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater pursuing a degree in Business Management. He is a member of the UW-Whitewater Fishing Team and will assume a leadership position with the team this year. He was also involved with the Fishing Team in high school and with Skills USA. His high school team placed 7th in national competition in Automated Manufacturing. Highlights of his community service record include serving meals in a soup kitchen in downtown Milwaukee and attending a weeklong work camp in Kentucky where he helped with cleaning up and rebuilding poor areas.
With a passion for fishing, Joseph plans to work in the fishing industry and eventually owning a related business of his own. A teacher notes that “Joseph is an extremely well-rounded student and an astonishing young man. He is driven to learn.”
