Meet the scholarship recipient: Robert Antoon II — aka Bobby

Fun fact: He is an avid outdoorsman and grandson of past MFASLC president, George Antoon.

Hard work, dedication and determination are three words used to describe Bobby. Majoring in Biomedical Engineering, he will carry a B+ average into his sophomore year at the University of Iowa. He volunteers at Mercy Hospital – Iowa City, and he will return home in the summer to be the head lifeguard for a fourth year at his community pool. He has been an altar server and the cross-bearer at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Church, Vice President of his Maronite Youth Organization, and a Youth Leader at the Annual MYO Leadership Conferences. A teacher states that “Robert is a very organized student who works extremely hard to achieve his goals. I truly believe he can do anything he wants to do”.
