Simon is an honor student who graduates from the University School of Milwaukee with a 3.5 grade point average. His rigorous studies include 3 years of Latin and 6 Advanced Placement courses. He was also a member of the school’s basketball and tennis teams. He is active in his church where he taught younger students while assisting them on their path to Confirmation.
Additionally, he participated in three summer service trips where he helped rebuild and paint houses and performed other tasks for the elderly. His AP Literature teacher notes that “Simon is happy to think and happy to help others think. He is ‘the glue’ that makes our group discussions work.”
Simon enters his freshman year at Southern Methodist University where he will major in Economics while minoring in Arabic.
