Meet the scholarship recipient: Victor Karam

An honors graduate from Benet Academy, Victor is now entering his junior year at Arizona State University with a 3.52 grade point average. He is a Finance major and aspires to continue studies at a law school that has a strong environmental law program. In college, he is an active member of the Financial Management Association and the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. His primary philanthropic efforts are geared toward supporting Serious Fun Children’s Network—an organization that provides free medical treatment for children. Back home in Chicago, he was an altar server at Our Lady of Lebanon and a varsity soccer and football player in high school.

Victor is known to be “someone who always went above and beyond what was required.” The reference writer further notes that “he demonstrates excellent communication skills, exceptional team orientation, and extraordinary interpersonal skills.”
