Dear Cousins and Friends of the Midwest Federation:
As you gather with your families and friends during this joyful season of Christmas, please know of our prayers and good wishes for a blessed and happy Christmas and a healthy and prosperous new year.
Let me take this opportunity to also invite you to our 86th Annual Convention to be held in Saint Louis, Missouri, June 30 to July 3. Our convention headquarters will be the fabulous Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch.
Highlights of the convention will include a hospitality reception with Lebanese food on Thursday evening, banquets and haflis on Friday and Saturday evenings, as well as the presentation of Midwest Federation Scholarships and our annual walk to benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital. More information on the convention and our Scholarship Program may be found on our website.
Lastly, I want to publicly thank Vice President Thomas Tadros and the American Syrian Lebanese Christian Society of Michigan City, Indiana, for offering to match up to $25,000 for any donations to our Scholarship Fund! Please consider making an end-of-year gift to the Scholarship Fund. All scholarship donations made prior to our Saint Louis convention will also be matched by the Michigan City club. You can donate to the Scholarship Fund through the Midwest Federation Foundation.
